The programme “Lets’ fly together” organized by the Socialist Youth Union to commemorate the brotherhood day last on 23rd July, was held yesterday(2) at Dharmapuram, Kilinochchi. Employees are in struggle for the arrears salaries of 10 months

There was a protesting campaign in front of the head office of the electricity board asking for the arrears salaries of 10 months on last 29th Friday.

Tamil Political Prisoners Should Be Redeemed And They Should Allowed To Have General Lives – Comrade Bimal Rathnayake

“Government has not solved the problem of Tamil political prisoners. According to a review made by us , the number of Tamil political prisoners retained in unknown camps are between 4700 and 5200. Still the government has not taken steps to present an acceptable document about the disappeared youth. Today Sports have become a slave of money. Sportsmen are always the ones to be blamed. But it is not their problem. It is a problem of the Capitalist System.

If anybody reveals about a corruption or bribery, instead of investigating on the said issue, investigations will be launched against the person who revealed about such corruption.
